Nestled among the lush mangrove jungles and ancient ruins, overlooking the azure waters of the Caribbean, few destinations boast the natural splendor of the surrounding state of Quintana Roo like the Waldorf Astoria Cancun.
Not far from its roots, the design incorporates memorable moments and bespoke details that embody the spirit of the surrounding elements. Carpet patterns emulate the movement of water; finish selections undulate between raw and polished, while pearlescent inlays and decorative details shimmer like moonlight on the water. The HBA San Francisco studio approached the design concept of this project as a journey of discovery. Dramatic volumes and sophisticated finishes frame picturesque views. Jewel-like moments are found as guests make their way through the spaces.
