The design pays homage to Betawi culture, reflecting Jakarta’s rich tapestry of heritage and evolution. Once known as Batavia, the city’s character is shaped by Chinese, Portuguese, Javanese, and Sundanese influences that together form the distinctive Betawi identity. This narrative unfolds throughout the hotel, where Betawi Batik patterns, Gigi Balang motifs, and echoes of Old Batavia are thoughtfully woven into the design. Every detail invites guests to rediscover Jakarta’s storied past while celebrating the vibrancy and dynamism of its present.
