The legendary Hotel Maria Cristina was returned to life with a design that celebrates the style and sensuality of the female stars of stage and screen who have stayed and played there.

A beloved landmark in the city since it was inaugurated in July 1912 by its namesake, Spain’s revered Queen Consort Maria Cristina, the hotel has also been centre stage to the San Sebastian International Film Festival since 1953.

HBA has rekindled the spirit of this Luxury Collection hotel to evoke the glamour, opulence and celebrity that belong to it. Fluid Art Nouveau detailing forms an exquisite canvas for a luxurious and comfortable design that cherishes the élan of all the leading ladies who have graced the hotel.
