As Partner and Principal in-charge of HBA architecture, Richard leads the firm’s architecture practice with a focus on both design excellence and operational stewardship. He oversees the day-to-day management of the practice while guiding projects from early visioning through planning, design, and implementation.

With over 30 years of experience across the U.S. and Asia, Richard has led a diverse portfolio of award-winning work. He is known for his ability to translate complex project goals into thoughtful, future-shaping design solutions that elevate both the built environment and the client experience. Combining a strong command of project delivery with a design-driven mindset, Richard brings clarity, creativity, and leadership to every stage of the process.
