As an award-winning Architect with training in both Interior Design and Architecture, Mak brings over 20 years of experience in luxury hospitality and high-end residential projects with a strong focus on Asia.

As Principal of Asia at HBA Residential, he brings expertise to an extraordinary range of projects from the most prestigious to the most private of residences, palaces and beyond. Catering to UHNWIs and luxury developers, delivering holistic, end-to-end solutions, from master planning to the finest of details.

Earlier in his career, he worked with renowned Architect, Dato Dr. Ken Yeang and developed a passion for environmentally sustainable building design. His pursuit in the field of sustainability was published in a paper on Energy Efficient Underground Tropical Buildings which was presented at the 2007 Conference on Sustainable Building, South East Asia held in Kuala Lumpur. His latest project in this area is leading the design for Mandai, Singapore’s first Eco-Resort.
