Four Seasons The Nam Hai in Vietnam has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Hotel Renovation category at AHEAD Awards Asia 2026, among more than 220 entries: a new record that witnesses the creative exuberance of the region.
Curated by HBA Singapore, the resort’s revitalisation preserves its architectural legacy while harmonising modern design with Vietnamese vernacular aesthetics, resulting in a fusion of timeless elegance and rich cultural identity. As Paula O’Callaghan explains: “Grounded in signature dark timber and softened by lighter, natural-toned finishes, the design pays tribute to artisanal materials and contemporary Indochine silhouettes, resulting in a quiet harmony with the landscape.”
